This walkway has been around for over 100 years and provides tourists with an excellent view of the city’s skyline. Keep readingLas Casas Filipinas de Acuzar: Travelling back in time
Filipina Wanderer travelled to Bataan with my artsy travel friends. In 7 hours, we travelled back in time, as we entered the cobblestones path to Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar. We travelled for 7 hours. Battling from the friday sweldo traffic of Metro Manila. Coming from the South of the Metro is also a big deal. The trip from skyway (to Makati to NLEX) and the help of google helped a lot (SCTEX was close at that time due to some road work). If your planning to go to Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar get your GPS ready and have a…

Keep readingNamnam Filipino Comfort: Appetizing the Pinoy Palate
Filipina Wanderer loves food. Namnam is a new Filipino restaurant in Greenbelt Makati, catering the pinoy panlasa (taste). Eversince we have tried this food heaven. Me and my friends keeps on visiting Namnam. The food is very comforting. The taste is versatile and extraordinary. It is truly Malinamnam, as it was coined from this Tagalog word which means flavorful. The Ensaladang Namnam. This is a combination of Pomelo Salad and Mango Salad. The acidity and sweetness combination makes this appetizer really appetizing. Moment Group is a network of restaurants, established by three friends, Jon Syjuco, Eliza Antonino, and Abba Napa. They also manage…

Keep readingIlocos and Beyond
Filipina Wanderer travelled Ilocos and beyond. Most of my shots are my stock photos from a previous travel in Ilocos Norte particularly in Pagudpud and Laoag. Hello there! Welcome to Pagudpud. Pagudpud is in the tip of Luzon. This is actually the gateway of Ilocos Norte (where my father’s clan is) and Cagayan Valley (my mother’s hometown). As a kid we usually pass by this route, I was able to ravel the changes thru the years. Its a 4 hour drive from Laoag to my Mom’s, which oftentimes I am sleeping from the entire trip. 🙂 There are actually great…

This is from Hongkong. I was then inlove with this kind of editing. I just added some layers and a water mark. This is at a crossroad intersection at Central. Shot at Ocean Park Hongkong. I completely boosted the color lenses into blue and yellow. I added a vintage effect. I love how the picture becomes different and fresh. This is an air balloon in the middle of Ocean Park. Filipina Wanderer, wanted to repost everything that was on my bucket. Maybe make this blog as an external memory/ online flashdisk LOL. (We will see) Lets start with my Photography. I started the love for arts at a very young age. Coming from a family of architects, I’ve been opened to creativity at its finest. Sketching and Free Hand drawing became a hobby back in gradeschool, then I shifted to painting. I wanted to paint things according to my eyes, I used oil, charcoal and watercolor. Then at age 11, I enrolled myself (yes I paid for it) at Magsaysay…
